These terms apply to everyone who uses Scoreline — the website, the organizers' back office, the scoring apps and the public sites and widgets — and to every purchase made on it. By creating an account, signing up or paying, you agree to them.
1. The service
Scoreline is an online platform for running cricket tournaments in Sri Lanka: planning tournaments and fixtures, team entries and squads, live ball-by-ball scoring, points tables, player and team statistics, rankings, public websites and broadcast graphics. We sell online services only; we do not sell or ship physical goods.
2. Accounts
- Organizers, clubs and players may sign up. Organizer and club accounts are opened after we review the application.
- You must give true details and keep your password and one-time codes private. You are responsible for what is done with your account.
- A player under 18 needs a parent or guardian's consent, recorded with the guardian's name and mobile number.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, gives false information or harms other users.
3. Plans, fees and payment
- Prices are shown in Sri Lankan rupees (LKR) on the sign-up and plans pages before you pay, and include any taxes we must charge.
- Paid items include organizer plans (monthly, yearly or per tournament), club and player logins, featured listings, an organizer's own website, and one-time verification fees for players and clubs.
- You can pay by card or other methods through our payment gateway, or by bank transfer with the deposit slip uploaded. Card details are handled by the payment gateway; Scoreline never sees or stores them.
- A paid plan or login starts when the payment is confirmed and runs for the period bought. Plans do not renew by themselves: you renew by paying again.
- Refunds follow our Return and Refund Policy.
4. Verification and rankings
A verification fee pays for our review of a player's or club's details and history. It does not guarantee approval. Only tournaments we approve count towards verified statistics and rankings. We decide tournament classes and ranking weights and may correct records that turn out to be wrong.
5. Your content
- You keep ownership of what you upload (scores, photos, logos, news, videos). You allow us to store and show it on Scoreline, on the organizer's site and in widgets, as the service needs.
- Match results, scorecards and statistics of tournaments shown publicly are public information.
- Do not upload anything that is unlawful, false, offensive or that you have no right to share.
6. Fair use
Do not misuse the service: no attempts to break in, overload it, copy it wholesale, alter results you are not responsible for, or use it to harass anyone.
7. Availability and liability
We work to keep Scoreline running and live scores accurate, but the service is provided as it is. We are not liable for losses caused by interruptions, incorrect scores entered by users, or events outside our control. Our total liability for a claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before it.
8. Changes
We may update these terms; the new version applies from the date shown at the top. Important changes are announced on the site or by message.
9. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, and the courts of Sri Lanka have jurisdiction.
