This policy explains what personal information Scoreline collects, why, and the choices you have.
1. What we collect
- Account details: name, mobile number, email address, password (stored scrambled) and the organization or club you belong to.
- Player details: name, date of birth, photo, playing role, team and club, town and district, and — for players under 18 — a guardian's name and mobile number.
- Match data: line-ups, ball-by-ball scores, results, statistics, awards and rankings.
- Payments: the plan bought, amount, date, reference and any bank slip you upload. Card payments are processed by the payment gateway; we receive only the result, never card numbers.
- Technical data: sign-in records, device and browser type, and audit logs of changes made in the back office.
2. How we use it
- To run tournaments, score matches and show scores, tables, statistics and rankings.
- To open and secure accounts, send one-time codes and service messages (SMS, email).
- To take and confirm payments, and to review verification requests.
- To keep the service safe, fix problems and improve it.
3. What is public
Scorecards, results, team line-ups, player names and statistics of tournaments shown on public sites are public. A player profile can be set to private; photos follow the photo settings. Contact details (mobile, email) are never shown publicly.
4. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with the tournament organizers you play or work with, with service providers who help us run Scoreline (hosting, SMS and email delivery, the payment gateway), and when the law requires it.
5. Keeping it
We keep account and match data while the account is open and as long as the records are part of tournament history. Payment records are kept as long as the law requires. You can ask us to delete your account; match records may stay in anonymised form.
6. Your choices
You can see and correct your details in your account, make your profile private, or ask us for a copy, a correction or deletion by contacting us below.
7. Security and cookies
Connections are encrypted, passwords are stored scrambled, and access to the back office is limited by roles. We use cookies only to keep you signed in and remember your language and display choices.
8. Children
Players under 18 are registered with a parent or guardian's consent. A guardian may ask us to correct or remove the child's information at any time.
